Shag rugs with high pile became popular in the 80's. They are soft and give you a mattress type of cushioning under your bare feet. You can sit or sleep on them comfortably. But they are a little bit difficult to maintain and care for and that is because of their construction and high pile. They may not be a good choice for high traffic areas. Or if you have several pets or kids, you may reconsider buying a white shag rug. A shag rug is not a good choice for a kid's room.

We then wet wash them with a tested, certified  WoolSafe shampoo and rinse them multiple times. After we extract the water, we flat dry them like the traditional way. The whole process takes 5-7 day.
