Moroccan Rug and Kilim Cleaning in Los Angeles

A client called in and said she just recently bought a Moroccan silk kilim online. She spilled a full glass of water on it and it bled and now has a big stain. We picked up the kilim from her and realized that it was not  natural silk. She later said that the seller had told her this kilim was made of cactus silk. We here some fancy words and terms these days such as art silk, coconut silk, banana silk, bamboo silk, etc, but none of these are real pure silk as someone would think of silk. These are just marketing terms to sell the rugs and kilims.

One of our cleaning technicians wet washed this kilim and it bled a lot. He rinsed it multiple times to get the excess dye and bleeding out of the kilim.

After this kilim was dry, the stain was no longer there. After we delivered the kilim, our client was very happy with the result of our cleaning and stain removal.
