Best Rug Cleaners, Best Rug Cleaning in Los Angeles

Do we clean rugs? Yes, but we do more than cleaning when we get a rug cleaning job. We care for the rugs and we curate them. What do I mean by that?

After we receive a rug for cleaning, we inspect the rug for any damages and if we spot damages such as holes or weak parts, we secure those areas to make sure they do not get bigger when we wash them.
A client dropped off this Moroccan rug for cleaning. Before we start the process of dusting which is our first step, we spotted 11 holes and marked them with yellow tapes. We then secured them and started the wash process.

We also take time to dust the rugs thoroughly to make sure we do not give them bath in their own mud.
After few rounds of dusting comes the deep washing, rinsing, water extracting, and drying.

When customers call in for rug cleaning, the first question they ask is how much we charge for cleaning. If the quality and how our cleaning process works is not asked and inquired, price by itself is meaningless. It is like asking a car dealer about his car prices without asking for the make, model, and the year in which the car was made.

Like in many other goods and and services fields, it is the quality which determines the cost or price. Therefore, before we mention our rate and prices, we explain that we are not wall to wall carpet cleaners. We do not do on-site rug cleaning. We mention that we do not do dry, steam, or surface cleaning. And then we explain our 10-step wet and deep washing process. After that, we quote out prices.

Here, I am posting before and after cleaning of a round sisal rug. This carpet was flooded by pipe brokage of a kitchen in a client's house.

A customer brought in a rug and said she wanted to wash the rug herself but was afraid of bleeding and color run; so she did not do it in her back yard.

I asked if she thought rug cleaning was do-it-yourself, and she said yes and no, but she mentioned she wanted to save money. I told her actually if you had washed the rug yourself, you would have lost money by damaging the rug.
Rug cleaning is a specialty job. It requires expertise, experience and facility. Rugs should be thoroughly dusted first to make sure all the dust and dry soil is out. Otherwise dust and water becomes mud. Then special rug shampoo and not tide or other detergents should be used. Then jet guns, rotary machines, or other devices should be employed followed by a good rinsing to make sure all the shampoo and enzyme is flushed out and removed. There should be no residue left in the rug. Sometimes detailing of the fringes is necessary and should be done. Drying the rug properly is also very important otherwise rug would smell.
She was convinced that rug cleaning was not something she could do at home and said: "I am glad that my rug is in good hands now".
