Zebrahide Full Cleaning and Restoration

We don’t like killing animals for their skins and that’s why we don’t go hunting. But we specialize in restoring exotic hides/skins. Maybe with restoring these damaged hides, we prevent our customers to go to the market to look for new hides!!

We received this extremely damaged zebrahide from a client. It was falling apart. We washed, patched, and repaired it. We put a new backing with a waterproof fabric for extra protection. We also sewed canvas straps on the edges by hand to prevent it from curling.

Cowhide Professional Cleaning in Los Angeles, High-end cowhide rugs by Kyle Bunting

We deal with servicing all kinds of animal hides. While we do not like or approve killing animals for their skins and hides, we try to preserve these hides so their owners do not go to the market to buy new ones.

We receive many different types of hides for professional cleaning, repair, stain guarding, moth guarding and treatment, down-sizing, stain removal, over-dyeing etc.

The last one we received was a laminated big one belonging to a very famous celebrity. This high-end natural hide was a patchwork by the famous Kyle Bunting. Creator of the original decorative hide rug, Kyle Bunting has redefined how hide is used in interior applications. Sheepskin Repair

During this spring it seems like pets have run a muck with their owner's rugs. Todays post involves a black sheepskin rug that was chewed up by a Labrador puppy. Take a look below:

The owner of the rug was quite upset when he brought in the rug, as it wasn't his dog that did the damage... it was his boss'! We quickly put his anger/distress to rest, letting him know our master weaver could restore the rug back to its original condition. The repair took about half a week and came out great.
