Karastan Rug Karastan Carpet Cleaning and Repair in Los Angeles

Karastan rugs are made here in the U.S. with the best material and highest craftsmanship. I had the pleasure of visiting one of the Karastan mills and plants which is located in Eden, North Carolina in early May, 2013. It was a great experience. The company was established in 1926 in Atlanta, Georgia and its first rug entered the market in 1928.

We receive many Karastan rugs which are machine made rugs for professional cleaning. These rugs are made with imported New Zealand wool pile. We inspect each rug individually and take before and after pictures. Then we do dusting and shampooing. Rinsing follows next to make sure shampoo and residues are not left in the rugs. Then we dry them. If rugs are not dry completely, they would smell.
This Karastan rug was dropped off at our store. It was left wet in storage for more than a year. Many areas were rotten with mildew. We cleaned and wet washed it. After that, we removed all the damaged and rotten parts and down-sized the rug.
The result of our cosmetic repair which took us three days to do was great and our customer was extremely happy. We love to see happy customers with big smiles on their faces.

Shag Rug Shag Carpet Cleaning in Los Angeles

Shag is back again! A good percentage of rugs we receive these days for cleaning are shag. These high pile soft texture carpets provide a pleasant mattress type of cushioning that many people love. We're expert in Shag rug cleaning.
The above pictured shag rug was dropped at our rug store on La Cienega Blvd. here in Los Angeles while ago. We do not do dry, steam, or surface cleaning. We did actual wet washing and deep cleaning after this carpet was dusted. This shag rug was very dusty and dirty.
The outcome of our cleaning was great and the rug looked extremely clean, soft, and fresh. Our customer was very happy. If you have a dirty shag rug with strong smell, bring it to us or call us to schedule a pick up and let us bring it back to life.

Rug Carpet Stain Removal. This Time Nail Polish

Besides selling, cleaning, repairing and appraising rugs, we do stain removal of Persian, Oriental and area machine made rugs. We received a phone call from a client whose daughter had dropped a bottle of nail polish on her grand mother's rug. This client was nervous and did not want her mother to see the rug with a big nail polish stain on it. They had tried to remove the stain themselves with no luck. And this was when they called us.
We picked the rug up on Saturday morning and washed it to get all the dust and soil out. After that worked on the stain removal and could take the nail polish off in stages. Our client was so happy with the outcome and shook our hands and said "I am relieved now"
So if you have a stained rug no matter what the stain is, come to us and let us WOW you! We can almost take care of any stain including pet urine stains, red wine, coffee, blood, food, gum and other tough stains.

Rug Cleaning, Rug Repair in Los Angeles

Rugs mostly get damaged on the ends and their fringes start to deteriorate. This maybe due to foot traffic or improper vacuuming. When we receive or pick up a rug for cleaning or repair and the fringes at the ends are damaged, we unravel and remove the loose fringes. We then secure the fringes to make sure the knots do not come off.

Here, I am posting before and after repair photos of a Bokhara Pakistani rug. The fringes were messed up due to foot traffic. We unraveled the loose fringes first. Then, we secured and trimmed the fringes to make sure the knots do not come off. Our customer was very happy with the repair job and said she loved this rug again.
