Rug Repair Painting by Great Iranian Artist "Nami Petgar"

Famous Iranian painter Nami Petgar who passed away in 2008 in Iran had many paintings among which this "Rug Repair" painting was a good one and my favorite. He was born in 1945 in Tehran. I am including a photo of Master Petgar here.

I received a phone call from someone mentioning that this work was not done by master Nami Petgar and then Maedeh, one of the students of master Nami contacted me a couple of times. This is the new finding that this painting was originally done by master Jafar Petgar. It was later copied by many other painters and artists. This copy which is shown here is done by Dadashi. Thank you Maedeh for taking time to investigate and clarify this.

Hi.Are you sure this is Master Nami Petgar's painting???
I was one of His Art Students, but I had not seen this!!!and the method is really different and that is not his signature, if you zoom in the photo you 'll see a signature (down left):Dadashi.
just take a look at his site and you'll find out that it is not his painting: www.namipetgar.com

Hi Maedeh,

Thank you very much for taking time to write to me. The original painting was done by Ostad Nami Petgar and after that there were many other copies and imitations by other artists. Thanks again for noticing the name under the painting.

Thank you Maedeh for correcting me on this. It is good that you read the post and cared.

Best wishes,

Sir Mis Maedeh has corrected your mistake that "Roffogar" is "Jafar Petgar"'s painting not Nami Petgar's; furthermore the picture of the the copy of Rofoogar is actually by Mr. Dadashi, hence 2 mistakes in a row. You have rightfully thanked Mis Maedeh for caring and correcting your mistake, why don't you return the same courtesy by fixing the problem on your page? At best, this is a misrepresentation sir.
I will send you a picture of actual Rofoogar to be posted here if you provide me with your email. Please be respectful and accurate of your homeland's artists.
