Rug Moth Damage

We picked up a moth damaged rug from a public storage. This is what happens if we store our rugs in a dark and humid place without having it professionally deep cleaned and wrapped in acid free paper. This is a hand knotted rug with cotton foundation and good quality wool pile. We deep cleaned this rug to make sure that the moth, eggs and larvae are out of the rug.

Are you hooking from the top or knotting this again?

We have to reweave the damaged areas. To do this, we match the design and color. Thank you for visiting our blog.
