The foundation of this 1970's Heriz carpet (roughly 45 years old) is cotton, and the pile is very good quality Lamb's wool. So everything in the construction is organic and natural. The design is called corners with a big diamond shape central medallion. The design of this rug is geometric and many designers and collectors love geometric design Heriz rugs.
