Navajo Blanket Restoration

A good customer of ours recently brought in one of his Navajo Blankets, of which he has a great collection of. This one needed more than our deep cleaning, though. It had become torn and tattered from years of wear and tear(this blanket gets used very frequently). It held special meaning to the owner so they decided to have it cleaned and then restored. We have worked with many Navajo Blankets in the past so we knew exactly how to help. Our master weaver handled the job and in just over a week we had the completed restoration. Take a look below:
As you can see the missing pieces were restored and the blanket looks absolutely great. Our customer had seen our work before but was still amazed at how we brought his treasured blanket back to life.
